Needs Research for Life-Zone-Network Services and Estimation of Telecommunication Traffic in a Rural Residential Area

Abstract(in English) In Japan, each local government promotes construction of information networks. We have proposed a new concept of LZN(Life Zone Network), which can provides combined services of medical, welfare and delivery services. In this report, we describe results on needs research for LZN services in a rural residential area. Then, we estimate telecommunication traffic of the network from results of above research. Finally, we discuss on the network scale, structure and required functions of LZN for typical rural residential areas.
