Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Self-similarities of transmission delay time on the up-links of CDMA cellular packet communications have been reported. This paper discusses the self-similarities for varying the cellular environments to find out system condition in which the self-similarity is observed. We estimate Hurst parameter H of transmission delay time which is collected by using computer simulation, and analyze its power spectrum for various values of shadowing fluctuations and power control errors. The results of these analysis show that the variance of power control errors has large effect on the self-similar characteristic of transmission delay time on the up-links of CDMA cellular packet communications, whereas the variance of shadowing fluctuations has little effect.
