Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper discusses field evaluation results of digital train radio systems. In order to evaluate frequency efficiency, this paper reports field evaluation results with respect to frequency reuse and beat interference. In this evaluation, assuming target bit error rate performance of 10^<-4> we employ differential detection with two-branch reception diversity for its demodulation part. Finally, field evaluation results show the following features:1)frequency reuse number should be more than 4 in asynchronous base station(BS)services;2)the train radio in moving environment does not suffer from serious performance degradation due to beat interference;3)the train radio suffers from beat interference, when the train makes a stop at the beat interference spot.
