Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, real-time applications on IP such as VoIP have been developed as the Internet has explosively grown and high-speed IP routers have been developed. In the proposed IP packet forwarding architecture, multiple VCs are established between IP handling node or function block. This VC is dynamically assigned to each packet. In this architecture, transmission delay is small since packets don't need to be reassembled at each node. We show the detailed architecture and evaluate its performance.
