Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the EDD connection admission control scheme, when a connection establishment request occurs, the worst-case link delay of each link along the connection is calculated to determine whether the request can be accepted or not. The conventional method for calculating the delays performs all tasks which are needed for the calculation after the request occurs. In this paper, we propose a high-speed calculation method in which some tasks are performed before the request occurs and the rest is only performed after the request occurs. Numerical examples show that the amount of time required for the calculation can be decreased up to about 30 %.
