Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the analysis of the GFR(Guaranteed Frame Rate) service which guarantees the MCR(Minimum Cell Rate), it has been analyzed the packet loss probability for ATM-GFR net-works assuming that multiple GFR sources are multiplexed. However, it is necessary to analyze the packet loss probabilities of packets with CLP(Cell Loss Priority)=0 and CLP=1, respectively. In order to analyze two CLP=0/1 packets loss probabilities, we extend two-state Marcov chain to five-state Marcov chain in QBD(Quasi Birth Death) model, and we evaluate packet loss probabilities of packets with CLP=0 and CLP=1.
