| 抄録(和) | 近年のインターネットおよびイントラネットにおける高速化技術としてMPLS(Multi-Protocol Label Switching)が注目されている. MPLSネットワーク内において, コアルータではパケットはラベル参照のみでフォワーディングされるが, エッジルータではIPアドレスからラベルを検索する必要がある. そのためMPLSエッジルータの高速化に関して, ラベル検索処理の高速化は重要な問題となる. そこで本研究では, MPLSエッジルータにおける高速ラベル検索法を提案する. エッジルータ間に複数のLSP(Label Switched Path)が設定されている環境を想定し, QoS要求を考慮したラベル検索を実現する. 実装を考慮してCAM(Content Addressable Memory)を利用したハードウェア構成を示し, 最後に計算機シミュレーションによる性能評価を行う. |
| 抄録(英) | Recently, with the Internet transforming into high-capacity and multimedia, MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching) is newly focused on. In MPLS network, a core router forwards packets only by checking the label. On the other hand, an edge router needs to decide the next hops of arrival packets from IP address. As for improvement of the router processing, how to make this search speed up is important problem. In this paper, high-speed label search method is proposed on MPLS edge router. In addition, proposed search methods select a LSP satisfying QoS requirements from plural LSPs which are set up in advance. Hardware structure is shown considering the design of this method, and finally, the performance of search speed is evaluated by simulation. |
