Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We developed a directional antenna and the MAC protocol which controlled the antenna, and built the test bed environment of the wireless LAN system which used a directional beam radiation pattern. We are evaluating the performance of antenna directivity in the wireless ad hoc network. The routing protocol to realize the multi-hop communication for which to become stable because participation, separation to the network due to the movement of the node and so on was done frequently is necessary by the wireless ad hoc network. So, we examined the routing protocol which the Signal information of the terminal of the neighboring which is the performances of this system was used for, and developed it into the system. This paper is a study on the performance evaluation by the foundation experiment of the developed routing protocol, and an effective routing form is examined when a directional beam radiation pattern is used.
