Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Pervasive ad hoc networks will enable users to access terrestrial networks even when they leave the coverage area. We have proposed a new access method which utilizes a hybrid metric for route evaluation. The hybrid metric is composed of a handover metric in combination with an ad hoc routing metric that assesses route stability and optimality. In this paper, potentiality of the proposed method is evaluated under diverse network environments, in which frequency of topology change or network density is varied on a large scale.
