Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Environment of ubiquitous computing and super distributed computer is spread out by the down sizing of computers and the big progress of networks. This paper proposes a method of communication and file search among devices in the distributed environment. The method is based on no-centralized system that does not need servers in ubiquitous computing environment. This method adopts a concept of evaluation points in search process in which agents with poor search time and results are dismissed and agents with good search functions survive. The proposed system was implemented to search files on PCs connected by LAN, where the possibility of feasibility of the method was confirmed.
