Abstract(in English) The intermittent interference periodically radiated from co-channel-operating equipment degrades the performance of 2.4-GHz-band wireless LAN. In this paper, we propose a periodical intermittent interference suppression algorithm for 2.4-GHz-band adaptive array. The new algorithm is based on a previously proposed algorithm which requires several parameters, including the output signal level of the array, to suppress continuous interference. The new algorithm detects the interference radiation period and samples the required parameters during the reception of the periodical interference, thus the algorithm is expected to work properly under the condition of the mild level variation of the interference bursts. The pattern measurement using an adaptive array steered by local phase shifters (AA-LPS) with 6-elements shows that the proposed algorithm directs a null to the periodical intermittent interferer.
