Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes an adaptive resource control scheme for broadband wireless packet transmission systems that controls process gain and transmit power for downlink in DS-CDMA systems so that the total bitrate is maximized. In the proposed scheme, base stations allocate resource with priority to each terminal under the condition that the total transmit power of the base station is fixed. Computer simulation confirms that the proposed system can improve average bitrate compared with the system without the proposed resource control.
