Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes an analog signal feedback type transmit power control (TPC) using a delay profile extrapolation technique in order to improve tracking ability of TPC to fading. In the proposed scheme, a TPC command is generated by estimating minimum transmit power level during next received time slot using delay profile extrapolation technique, and an analog value of the necessary increment of transmit power is fed back to the transmitter using an analog quadrature amplitude modulation (QAM). Computer simulation confirms that the proposed system can improve tracking ability of TPC to fading.
