Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In the distributed basestation system, the base station are deployed over the service area, and connected to the control station through radio-on-fiber link in order to cancel the co-channel interference amongst mobile terminals. This paper investigates the performance of the distributed basestation system, which makes use of serial interference canceller(SIC), which generates replicas of the interference signals from the un-desired terminals and subtracts them from the received signal. Computer simulation result shows that the destributed basestation system with SIC is an efficient technique capable of improving the frequency utilization performance.
