Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The ubiquitous antenna system, which is composed of multiple base stations distributed over service area with Radio-on-Fiber Link, can cancel co-channel interference. This co-channel interference cancellation enables the multiple mobile terminals to operate at the same frequency simultaneously. In order to cancel mutual interference, a receiver has to estimate the channel frequency response including the delay in radio propagation path for each of many terminals and ROF Link. This paper proposes a channel estimation scheme using multiplexing pilot signal. Computer simulation shows the performance of the proposed scheme.
