Abstract(in English) Rapid popularization of mobile phone system enables people to communicate each other at anytime, anywhere they want. Besides this is an innovational movement on personal communication, phone or e-mail is too intrusive to communicate with others easily. So this makes large cliff between communication and isolation. To break down the cliff, we applied instant messaging(IM) system for mobile environment. In this paper, we describe about mobile IM system architecture with its protocol and evaluation of trial services of our system.
