Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a new private PHS, which is capable of deploying its cell stations(CS) amongst two or more private networks by making effective use of IP tunneling. In the proposal method, the cell station can not only be connected onto the Global IP network but on the dialup environment and private network where the unique ip address is not determined in order to communicate between the cell station and the cell station controller deployed on the several networks. The report evaluates the voice quality and data transmission latency performance and shows the overhead due to IP tunneling does not affect the performance.
