Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Because of the soaring of IP traffic on the Internet, routers whose engines are committed by chips are dominating its market. In order to support IP-QoS on these routers, various options to set up rules for the management of IP-QoS should be proposed to customers in the limited resources of the chips. Moreover, the unpredictable changes of routing tables require dynamic allocation of hardware-resources to each packet flow. For the high flexibility to users and hardware implementation, we propose architecture to accommodate both QoS parameters specified. by users and the entries of routing tables with limited hardware resources.
