Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, attention has been paid to monitoring systems watching behavior of a solitude person in a house, as the rate of solitude seniors population increases. Even though many monitoring systems have been reported using only a switch of an infrared sensor and/or electric apparatus to check the existence of a person at their position, they could not analyze detailed behavior. On the other hand, it is hard to compose monitoring systems watching detailed behavior, because the monitoring system requires numerous actions/behavior models for analyzing detailed actions. In this report, we propose a method of recognizing detailed action/behavior without preparing multitudinous models. In addition, we also propose a perceptive manner of recognizing the action/behavior patterns taking the order of motions/actions into consideration. The experimental results of our proposed system confirm the effectiveness of our approach.
