Abstract(in English) We suggest a method of clustering to label each individual the genotype. Since SNP, one of the nucleotide polymorphisms, is usually measured in the assay employing the fluorescent dyes, the individual SNP genotype is quantified as the luminescence intensity. Until now each individual SNP genotype, "A/A"," A/G","G/G", has been manually reviewed. As the laboratory staffs need to look at the plots and manually review each genotype, it is a big bottleneck for genotype analysis. In order to automate this procedure we developed a method of clustering by K-means and estimating the number of the clusters employing F-ratio as an index. We show the method and its effectiveness here.
