| Abstract(in English) | We developed information guidance system for the handicapped, (such as the visually impaired, the hearing impaired, the mobility impaired and the elderly) in order to improve their safety and mobility in a railway station. The system provides some different kinds of useful information (such as route guidance, timetable and warning of train approach). Prior to the development, we interviewed each type of the impaired to decide the specification of the system. The test was done with the handicapped after the development. This paper reports the abstract of the system and the result of the test. |
