Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Resource reservation is usefull for preserving resource monopolization caused by a program bug in an application and a denial-of-service attack. However, every conventional resource reservation mechanism is not applicable for a legacy application. Since, it assumes that an application is albe to use a framework provided by the reservation mechanism in order to reserve resources for itself. We propose a wrapping approach to resource reservation for legacy applications and implement it on the Lites server that is a FreeBSD-compatible server on Real-Time Mach.
