Abstract(in English) Colonia is an distributed operating system designed for the Computer Colony we have proposed. Colonia provides user application with shared memory environment as an flexible and efficient parallel execution environment. Various system services are also provided using the shared memory environment. Thus, the implementation of the shared memory management is one of the important factor of Colonia design. This paper reports our implementation of a global name service required to realize shared memory environment.
