Abstract(in English) | Recursive Diagonal Torus,or RDT consists of recursively structured toruses.By applying the e-cube routing on each torus, the perfect RDT can be easily deadlock free.On a realistic derivative,called the RDT(2,4,1), a,which is used for a massively parallel machine JUMP-1,the routing can be deadlock free by preparing additional channels to two links.Packet multicasting, which is required for the distributed directory management mechanism of JUMP-1,are also deadlock free by applying the proposed method. |
