Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The recent advance of semiconductor technologies enable to produce a large size of crossbar with reasonable cost. A class of indirect networks called the SDX(Single Dimensional X'bar) which can make the best use of such crossbars is defined. It provides a crossbar between any two nodes and a node between any two crossbars. A novel cost effective network in this class called the SDX De Bruijn is proposed. By combining multiple SDXs, the MDX(MultiDimensional X'bar) is defined. New networks in this class, Turbo MDX De Bruijn and MDX Star are proposed. These networks provide characteristics of De Bruijn or Star and support small average distances.
