| 抄録(和) | 近年の高速計算の要求を満たすためには並列化が有力である。並列計算機を構成する上ではプロセッサ間通信や同期を効率良く実現するために内部相互結合網が重要な意味を持ってくる。アルゴリズム的には結合形状は数多く評価なされてきたが、実行コードにレイテンシ隠蔽技法を適用した場合の評価はあまりされていない。SOR・行列ベクトル積・FFTを問題例として、プログラムの最適化で結合形状と通信パタンの不適合による並列計算の性能低下を補償できることをシミュレーションにより示す。 |
| 抄録(英) | Parallelization is a key to the recent demand for high speed computing.Interconnection networks are important for the parallel computing systems,since the communication and the synchronization among the processing elements should be efficiently implemented. Although they have been studied from the algorithmic angles,they have not been evaluated using the application codes with latency hiding techniques.The interconnection networks with the application codes,the SOR,the matrix vector multiplication,and the FFT computations are evaluated.Wed describe that the deterioration of the performance,which is caused by the disagreement between the network topology and the communication pattern,can he compensated by the optimization of the application programs. |
