Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have implemented the Demand, Accept model parallel computer and the parallel procedural language C// designed to suit for Demand/Accept model. We experimented to describe some image processing algorithms or vision tasks using C// in order to investigate the availabilty and the adaptability of C// for them. As a result, they could be readily described including non- stereotyped as well as stereotyped processes, and so it proved that the facilities of C// are adequate to express explicitly parallelism. In this report,we present the summary of the Demand/ Accept model parallel computer and a programming experience of image processing algorithms using C//.
