Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose that the mechanism for exchanging program part shared by running processes. We have three problems to be solved. The first problem is to make conditions of exchangeable program parts clear. The next is how to manage a state of program parts. And the last is how to guarantee an exchange in finite time. We describe the solutions to these problems and the evaluation of this exchanging mechanism from three points of view, exchanging time, overhead time of new system-calls and effects for service. The proposed mechanism makes it possible to exchange a part of program, without taking care of an exchange, shared by running processes.
