Abstract(in English) There are a number of researches on implementations of distributed shared-memory systems on workstation clusters. However, there exists a bottleneck in an I/O bus of the workstation in the case of accessing home memory from the other nodes. Therefore, we introduce a Home Proxy mechanism which relaxes access traffic in the I/O bus by caching home memory into dedicated hard-ware outside of the I/O bus. In this paper, we describe a conept of the Home Proxy and explain an estimation of performance in a workstation cluster system JUMP-1/3-SL.
