Abstract(in English) Here, we report an experimental implementation of a software only distributed shared memory system which uses code instrumentations. This system replaces load/store instructions in the original program with special codes which performs memory consistency maintenance operations if necessary. We evaluated this experimental implementation by using some SPLASH-2 programs. While this experimental implementation does not yield good performance, some suggestive results to improve performance are obtained.
