Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Image inpainting method and geometric active contour model are proposed using geometric partial differential equation. In general, we must get the boundary of the object to remove the object from an image. In this paper, we propose the method that we remove the object using the image inpainting method after we detect the boundary of the object in a image. We use the geometric partial differential equation for two stages of the method. Recently, computer graphics is used in the field of the movie. The method of image inpainting can be available to recover the used film. Moreover, we extend the method to apply the three dimensional image. Medical image analysis and image sequence analysis can be available for the proposed method. We show the effectiveness by removing the object in three dimensional image and by removing the caption from the movie with caption. The movie is used as three dimensional image including time axis.
