Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We develop an intelligent support system for manufacturing, which observes the user with cameras, sensors, and networked appliances. For the purpose of such support, the system needs to find the description of production routine that the user is following, I.e. the target product. However, the recognition accuracy of objects or operations might not be satisfied for estimating the target. In this paper, we introduce the system that recognizes objects and one operation related to them concurrently by the two constraints between the objects and the operation. The first constraint is that the operation with the objects must be a part of one of the production routine. The second constraint is that the product from the operation with the objects must have invariable certain feature. We implemented the system for recognition of one operation related to objects, and confirmed that it led to better results than the system that recognizes object and operation separately.
