| Abstract(in English) | In this paper, we propose a technique for identifying a person appearing several video sources taken by cameras connected through a network. The cameras are supposed to be distributed out of a wide range of space where people walk around, and any camera views do not overlapped. In the proposed method, clients process a video to extract human regions and calculate color histograms and correrograms. A server recieves the information from the clients and registers them into a feature database, then compares the present person with previous registered features. Experimental results on real video sequences show the effectiveness of the proposed method. |
