Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Laser pointer detection technique on video frame and its coordinates estimation technique on slide are very important for creating Web Based Training materials for e-Learning. In this paper, we propose a laser pointer detection method by using frame difference information and a laser pointer's coordinates estimation method on slide by using a relationship among laser pointer and two characters. We evaluated the proposed method with some lecture videos using laser pointer. Experimental results show that the proposed methods are very effective.
