Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a method for position estimation of soccer players on a soccer field from uncalibrated image sequences of television. From correspondence between lines on an input image and a field model, the projection transform matrix can be estimated. But projection transform parameters between the soccer field and images of television programs change from time to time because of camera motions such as pan, tilt, and zoom. Then we use correspondences between lines of image sequences and the soccer field model, extracted by voting Hough parameters of lines on the input image into the Hough space of the field model.
