Abstract(in English) We proposed an automatic camera control system, and it changes the camera view based on the result of recognition to take more interesting views for remote students. However, a part of the written characters is hidden by the shadow of lecturer sometimes, and our previous system can't determine the range of the written characters correctly. In this paper, we propose a new intelligent video-control system using marker position capture system and two video cameras. The system extracts the character region from whiteboard image, and segments time block to determinate the camera view. It is confirmed that the maker position capture system is effective for distance lecture.
