Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to obtain the force feedback from a real object and represent it in the virtual space, we have developed a system consisting of a haptic device and a three-dimensional (3D) force sensor in the previous research. Using the system we can measure the 3D distribution of the force feedback from the real space with spatially and temporally high resolution. In this report, we propose a procedure to measure the distribution of the force feedback exhaustively in the six-dimensional feature space, 3D position and 3D velocity, using our system.
