| 抄録(和) | 本論文では複数の顔部品からエッジ特徴と四方向面特徴を抽出し,これらの特徴空間を解析するこにより,どの顔部品の特徴が性別推定に有効かを考察する.特徴空間の評価はクラス間分離度,クラスタ判別法を用いた.評価実験を行ったところ,顔,顎,両眼といった顔部品が良好な特徴空間を作成した.さらに識別実験を行った.これらの結果より,良好な特徴空間と高い認識率が得られた顎パターンに対し,認識に成功した男性,女性それぞれについて四方向面パターンを作成し,それぞれの面に対し平均画像を作成したところ,他の顔部品に比べて明確な差が現れていることを確認した. |
| 抄録(英) | We use the edge feature and the four directional feature fields on many facial images and then analyzed the feature space. The main purpose of our work is to evaluate which of the subject's facial parts are the most effective at making the difference between males and females. Evaluation of the feature space uses the within-class variance between-class variance ratio and the cluster discriminant analysis. By experimenting on many subjects, we conclude that face, eyes and jaw make the best feature spaces in order to distinguish between male and female subjects. |
