Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, a tracking method for a mixed reality authoring envitonment is described. In this method, positions and orientations of viewpoint, an object and an input device are determined using data set from wearable camera, wearable rotation sensor, and ultrasonic position sensor embedded in the environment. A vision-based tracking method that uses integration of a top-down approach and a bottom-up approach is used with a position sensor to track targets stably while entries of database are insufficient.
