Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Head Mounted Display system suffers a loss from the time lag from operator's motion to display. So, Authors have developed Reflex HMD to solve this problem. The angular movement is measured by gyroscope in this HMD, modulates the driving signal for LCD panel, and shifts the viewport within the image supplied from the computer. To include this capability inside the HMD, a small prototype using CPLD and small microprocessor is realized. And the performance of this system is measured.
