Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Concerning the bottom-up object recognition in images, we report a new scheme for such object that has rather stable. (not rigid) element contiguration. We report how to semi-automatically define (1) the number and the kind of elements which constitutes an object, (2) the size of an object, (3) the neighbor set of each element i.e., the reference range of the object relative to each element. Object recognition scheme using these data is also discussed. We show some experiments showing the validity of the proposed scheme.
