Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Broadband networks enable the multi-modal high-quality real-time communication services. In terms of speech media, quality enhancement of services by the wideband speech and the stereo channels is expected. In the quality assessment for such communication services, it is important to assess not only simple one-dimensional opinion but also KANSEI factors in view of expressing the quality of services appropriately. This paper describes the relationship between overall speech quality and individual psychological factors, which are extracted based on conversational quality evaluation experiments, for developing an opinion model for high-quality speech communications.
