Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Multipath channel and time variant Channel are major factors for degradation of communication quality for mobile communication. An OFDM system, which has been recently studied as a next generation communication technique, does not have the validity for time variant channel. Although, it has a feature that is robust on multipath channel due to its guard interval. Accordingly there are several studies about enhancing transmission performance. The technique of these studies includes to make time variant channel robust by means of applying the technique of transmit diversity to OFDM arid combine it with STBC, a kind of MIMO system. In this paper, we propose a technique to solve the degradation of BER characteristic on the channel approximation of STBC decoding at the receiver. Furthermore, we report the present condition of chip development of the IEEE802.11a/g std which added the proposed communication system.
