Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) his paper proposes a timing synchronization method for uplink dynamic parameter controlled orthogonal frequency and time division multiple access (DPC-OF/TDMA). In the uplink DPC-OF/TDMA, that is based on OFDMA, multiple mobile stations (MSs) share "slots" that use a certain number of sub-carriers and a certain time. Here, a slot transmitted by each MS suffers different propagation delay, and such slots are received with misalignment at base station (BS). Therefore, as it is desirable that each OFDM symbol is demodulated at once FFT, timing synchronization for FFT window position is important technique. Our proposed method calculates the correlation values between the received signal and known symbols added at the head of each slot, then selects a synchronization timing from detected time which cause the peak values of the correlations. This paper evaluates the performance of DPC-OF/TDMA applied the proposed method under single cell and high-mobility environment by computer simulation.
