Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper considers routing and multi-hop communication using a multi-frequency channel in an ESS Mesh networks, which is currently being standardized by the IEEE802.11s committee. We assume that the IEEE802.11s Wireless LAN access points (APs) have multiple interfaces to communicate simultaneously using multi-channels. In general, stations tend to communicate with the specific nodes, e.g. network gateways (GWs) or file servers, and the amount of traffic to these specific nodes is much greater than to other nodes. Therefore, the degree of fairness to each destination node will degrade. We will propose using channel allocation techniques in the Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol to improve the fairness for each destination node. Computer simulation results show the efficiency of the proposed techniques.
