Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents laboratory experimental results on TCP throughput ofbroadband DS-CDMA wireless access using implemented transceivers in multipath Rayleigh fading channels. In the implemented transceivers, IP packets based on TCP are segmented and mapped into radio packet frame and key techniques such as hybrid ARQ with packet combining, pilot channel-based coherent Rake combining, Turbo coding, and antenna diversity reception are applied. Experimental results elucidate that the increase of the number of retransmissions bringing about reduced residual packet error rate (PER) is effective in improving TCP throughput and that required residual PER of radio packet frame should be less than 10^<-3> for realizing the TCP throughput with the loss less than 12 % from the throughput of radio packet frame.
