Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a routing protocol for mobile ad hoc networks, taking link stability into consideration. Specifically, we focus on AODV and propose link-stability aware AODV (LSA-AODV). We have implemented LSA-AODV based on the existing AODV implementation. We have investigated performance of AODV and LSA-AODV based on experiments in the open-air field where nodes are placed at fixed location. We show that LSA-AODV avoids using unstable links and reduces to switch routes unnecessary. As a result, LSA-AODV significantly outperforms existing AODV in terms of packet delivery ratio.
