A distributed fair resource allocation scheme for adaptive OVPN service

Abstract(in English) Recently, optical VPN services have been paid much attention as a promissing backbone service. In this paper, we consider a mechanism for providing fairness among VPNs. The key to our scheme lies in a stochastic-based admission control that enables us to provide almost ideal fairness while maintaining efficiency of network resources. We also performed extensive simulations to evaluate performance of our algorithm in terms of fairness and network efficiency.
