| 抄録(和) | 近年,コンテンツ配信サービスが注目されており,コンテンツデータがネットワーク内を流れるトラヒックのかなりの部分を占めると考えられる.一般的に,コンテンツ取得までの待ち時間が長くなればユーザの効用(満足度)は小さくなる.この性質を用いて,ユーザ効用と待ち時間の関係を考慮した優先制御を行うことにより,ユーザ全体の効用を増加させることが可能となる.そこで本稿では,ユーザ効用に着目し,いろいろな種類の効用モデルに基づく優先制御について検討している.優先制御方式としては制限式優先制御を仮定し,平均系内時間を論理解析により求めて呼量とユーザ全体の効用の関係を示し,効用を最大化させる最適条件を明らかにしている. |
| 抄録(英) | Contents delivery will become more popular in the near future, and its traffic is expected to become dominant in the network. Generally, the user's utility (satisfaction) decreases as the waiting time for acquisition of contents increases. The total users' utility can be maximized by using priority control in consideration of user's behaviour. This paper studies the priority control based on various types of utility function. The formula for estimating the mean waiting time is derived for priority control available in packet switching systems. The optimal condition is defined in terms of the traffic load and the waiting time for high and low priority classes, respectively. Finally, the optimal condition for priority and non-priority classes is analysed using numerical examples. |
