Abstract(in English) When performing network measurement, higher accuracy of time is required with in the environment of increased network speed. However, in general personal computer (PC), the internal time source is based on a crystal oscillator without temperature compensation, and its less accuracy of presision is well-known. In this paper, we determined the time accuracy of general PC by comparing temperature change of an internal crystal oscillator. Moreover, we surveyed the relation between the accuracy of the frequency source and the time accuracy of PC using various frequency sources.
